Glass and Crystal Jewelry
Glass offers infinite possibilities. I use all kinds of glass components in my work, trying to avoid the really cheap ones that
may break. My favorite glass to use is from the Czech Republic. Czech crystal comes in many shapes, colors, and finishes
(as does the glass), and it is really good quality, though not quite as fabulous looking as Swarovski crystal, which I also use.
Swarovski needs to be used sparingly in pieces that are not meant to be dressy, because it really has bling! I also like to
use Murano (Venetian) beads, handmade lampwork art, or fused pendants as focal elements for a really unique touch.
